Flying Coaster Tracks
Project Details:

-
Two versions of a simple track were completed in the study. Version 2 (shorter and smaller) was ultimately decided on due to the file size in relation to the motion study.
-
Version one was more complex and had a longer gravity box and was closer to a full scale, measuring around 100 feet.
-
Version two was smaller and simpler, measuring around 25 feet in height.
-
Both tracks are made up of three types of track pieces:
-
Straight Rail
-
Curved Track
-
Up to Lift Track
-
Connector Track (only used in complex assemble to complete the track)
-
-
The track pieces are actually sub-assembly themselves, because I made one rail and then would add the other in another assembly.
-
The straight rail also features “bullhorns” for support. For the table below, I will only show the sub-assemblies and bullhorn.
